NEW YORK — The Times guy edges his way into Miguel’s Beyond the Deadline Club downtown. It’s very late but the club is bustling, lots of reporters and editors at the bar late on the night of Super Tuesday. He’s sees the Post guy in a corner nursing a Brewdog and pushes his way through the crowd. He overhears snatches of conversation – Tulsi’s meeting with Jill and Ralph right now, I hear…. Amy was threatened with funding cutoffs by the DNC…. He confused his wife with whom….. What did you say they dangled for Pete? – and finally reaches the Post guy. Hey, he says, edging into a chair, quite a night for Joe. The Post guy says, Yeah. Bernie people are really pissed at Warren. The Times guys says, Really? What’s the word? The Post guy pulls out his cell. They say she’s a liar, nasty. They say she stole Bernie’s voters, stole his ideas, stole everything. If she had pulled out, they say, Bernie would have been a shoe-in. But she didn’t. So she’s a traitor. She’s working with Biden. She backs the establishment plan to stop Bernie. She’s a nasty skank ass bitch who messed up the polls in Texas. She hasn’t ever accomplished anything. She’s a plant. She’s two-faced. She’s a horse-faced lesbian. She’s a racist. The Times guy says, Okay, Okay. So it’s Elizabeth’s fault that Bernie didn’t win. The Post guy says, That’s the line. Oh, here’s one more, Donald says, So selfish for Elizabeth Warren to stay in the race. She has Zero chance of even coming close to winning, but hurts Bernie badly. So much for their wonderful liberal friendship. Will he ever speak to her again? She cost him Massachusetts (and came in third), he shouldn’t! The Times guy says, Gee. I thought you could make a pretty good case that the voters had some say in all of it, particularly African American voters. Are they in on the racist plot to stop Bernie too?
