CSI: American Carnage (Wednesday, March 27, 2019)

CALEXICO, Calif. — Come on! says, Little Timmy, pup reporter. He and Sarah, a friend from the resistance potluck, begin running down Imperial Avenue toward a diner. Black helicopters are circling above it, releasing untold gallons of bleach, and making it impossible to get near the diner front. Timmy says, Let’s go around back. They make their way toward the rear of the building just as hundreds of children are clambering out of a large pit. The children run through the rain of bleach that pours from the helicopters and disappear. Sarah says, This is appalling! The autocrat’s vengeance knows no bounds! Timmy says, This must be one of the biggest border decontaminations in history! Why isn’t anyone saying anything about this? Why is there no help coming for these children? Where are their mothers and fathers? Sarah says, The autocrat is a master of deception. He must have orchestrated some alternative storyline that focuses attention elsewhere. But his dirty work is right here with the destruction of these lives. Timmy and Sarah continue making their way to the rear where a black uniformed agent, wearing a gas mask, lies on the ground, his M16 half buried in the mud. Timmy says, What are you doing? Who are you? The man says, I am Pete. We are trying to release these children, but some undercover agents have sabotaged our mission. Help me, please. I cannot get up off my back. Sarah says, Only a cockroach and a turtle are immobilized on their backs. Pete says, I’ve had troubled dreams. I’m not some horrible vermin, yet when I lie on my back I see a black belly, slightly domed, and divided by arches into stiff sections. My legs are pitifully thin, and they wave about helplessly. What’s happened to me? Sarah says, We do not have time for this. Perhaps you should rethink your life choices. Come on, Tim, let’s get out of this rain of bleach. They leave Pete and his spindly arms waving in the air, and head for a dilapidated tin-roofed shed. When Timmy pulls open the door, He finds the Professor and Boris! Teemy! Boris shouts. Sarah! There are hugs all around. The Professor says, We haven’t much time. But this shed covers a breach in the backchannel system. A tributary flows right underground. Something seems to be going on and we must enter the tunnel system to determine what it is. Sarah says, I have stated all along that this criminal autocrat and his gang of thieves and grifters must be stopped immediately. The longer we wait, the more difficult the task. Come on. The group finds the entrance to the backchannel and descends. Immediately they hear the voices: They will never know it is fake, echoes down the tunnel. Fake, fake, fake. We must keep up the pressure. They are soft. We will crush them. Fake. What’s the message? The message is they must be investigated. They must be shut down. This is the moment. They must be silenced. Sarah says, We may be too late. The autocrat is aroused and his soft flesh reeks of malice.
