CSI: American Carnage (Thursday, July 23, 2020)
WASHINGTON – Donald looks out at the assembled press dotting the briefing room in the West Wing. A great honor to be with you today, he says. And being here is a real — a really important moment, as far as I’m concerned. The Times guy looking on jots a note. The Post guy waits, thumb poised over his record button. Bill and Chad wait behind Donald. Donald says, Extreme politicians have joined this anti-police crusade and relentlessly vilified our patriot law enforcement heroes. To look at it from any standpoint, the effort to shut down policing in their own communities has led to a shocking explosion of shootings, killings, murders, and heinous crimes of violence, and many other crimes, many, many crimes. This bloodshed must end. There is blood running in the streets of all kinds of cities across this great country. This bloodshed will end. The Post guy blinks. He hits record. Donald continues, For decades, politicians running many of our nation’s major cities have put the interests of criminals and illegals above the rights of law-abiding citizens, the people. They have kept the police in cages and rewarded the criminals with sweets and other delicious items for the mouth. This rampage of violence shocks the conscience of our nation, and we will not stand by and watch it happen. Can’t do that. Portland, in I believe, Oregon. Donald looks behind him. Chad nods. Donald says, Portland, in Oregon, is where they have been tampering with the mail boxes, attacking postal workers, setting up printing presses for production of the hoax mail ballots and, I believe, $15 bills. The mayor there has joined these lawless elements, as have the mayors of these other cities, the Chicagos, the Kansas Cities, the one in Arkansas, not the one in Nebraska, the Albuquerques, the Philadelphias, the Atlantas, and so many, many others, that are run by the anarchist radicals who are screaming out of control. What cities are doing is absolute insanity. Many of these lawless politicians have declared that their cities are sanctuaries for criminal illegal aliens. In other words, after arresting illegal aliens for crimes, the police are ordered to release those criminals back onto the streets to continue their wave of terror. Police are ordered to assist in the production of the phony ballots, and they are forced to provide protection to these illegals infesting the streets and the alleys. Now these so-called mayors want us to go in and clean up the hot spots, which we will do. We will clean up the crime hot spots phenomenally, probably more phenomenal than the virus, which is on the run. We’re arresting a lot of people that have been very bad. We’ve done some amazing things. And I think you will see that if you compare our statistics to other countries. If you look at death rates, if you look into the future, you will see some very, very impressive numbers for the United States. – July 23, 2020
