CSI: American Carnage (Thursday, December 6, 2018)

Deep beneath the snow-dusted fields, the Dark Ones contemplate their next move. The vast central plains complex is silent but for the buzzing and crackling heard coming from the screens within the Den of Deliberation. The elder, who is savoring a new batch of chokecherry tea, turns to his brother and says, The gambler showman made no arrests during the funeral ceremonies honoring his fallen predecessor. The younger, placing his fingertips together, says, No. The expected roundup did not occur. Many members of the QAnon cabal are concerned that their analysis may be flawed. The elder says, Yes. It is flawed. It would have been madness for the showman to make such brazen arrests. The peanut farmer and the Kenyan usurper would have caused a scene. They would not cotton to handcuffs. But I am surprised that the Arkansas diddler and his long-suffering wench were not swept up. She would have accepted it all with resignation. Part of the process. He would have tried to talk his way out of it. I am astonished the gambler showman showed such restraint. The elder sips his chokecherry tea. He says, I think the Chinese green is superior to this North Carolina chokecherry. My brother, I must share another concern of mine. The Hoosier puppet, who has served us so well over many years, and never more so than now, finds himself under attack by members of his own faction. The younger says, Yes, I am aware, my brother. Some members of the faction claim that the puppet adds nothing to the gambler showman’s strength across our territories. The elder chuckles. Ho ho ho. He says, These vassals, they are rich in their ignorance if nothing else. The Hoosier puppet, it is true, has been keeping himself out of the spotlight. But that can only be termed a wise decision. The more erratically the showman performs, the greater the importance of the puppet. Any fool can see the puppet must avoid taint. We have invested much in him. I would be unhappy if the idiots pushed him away from the side of the showman. The younger brother rises from his lounger and begins pacing about the room as screens crackle and rumble. He says, The puppet’s last report was most informative. He outlined the showman’s plan to remain in power and to live an eternal life. The showman apparently believes he is immortal and it pains him to attend the last rites and services of those whose lack of accomplishment prevent them from achieving such status. The younger says, Father would certainly understand that. He saw the same in Russia and Germany. Both leaders of those pathetic countries believed in their own immortality. Father, of course, profited from their delusions. And so will we. And so will we. Let us never forget who rules. The elder brother says, Hear, hear! To father! They stand.
