CSI: American Carnage (Sunday, November 24, 2019)
Listen up, Devin, Donald says, this isn’t gonna be repeated, okay, so pay attention. Donald is propped on the Executive Lounge recliner. Devin and Jim have pushed last night’s leftovers off of the side chairs and are sitting waiting. Jim whispers in Devin’s ear. Devin shakes his head and pushes Jim on the shoulder. Donald says, Hector, let’s get the show rolling. Hector, manning a projector, begins a Power Point presentation. There is Dark Music. A shadow scurries across the screen. Donald says, Goddamn it! Get that thing out of here! Donald throws a slipper at the wall as the shadow disappears into a small crack. Devin elbows Jim and whispers in his ear. Donald says, Ok pay attention. Cut the socializing. Jim says, Yessir. Donald says, The Democrats dirty tricks have started this whole thing. The Whistleblower, the guy who took his case to Schiff’s staff first, this is the first Whistleblower, not the Second Whistleblower, who’s disappeared. Where is the Second Whistleblower? Did he work with the Ukraine too? That’s one thing we’re trying to find out. Jim elbows Devin who smirkes. Donald turns a cold eye on them and then continues. On the screen is a can with its top in the air. Donald says, What really blows the lid off this entire saga — we’re talking the Whistleblower and… Devin raises his hand. Donald says, What is it? Devin says, Is this the first one? Donald says, First one what? Devin snickers. He says, Whistleblower. The first Whistleblower. Jim says, It sure is, because after the first one, like the president was saying, after the first one, the lid gets blown off. It’s not the second one. Oh no. It’s not the third one. By that time, they’re all running around like the Chinese in a fire drill. Oh what are we gonna do? What are we gonna do? Devin snickers through his nose. Jim says, It’s not the fourth one. We are supposed to believe that the first Whistleblower did not blow the lid off? Is that what you’re asking? Is that it? Devin says, No no. I was just talking about the Democrats and the first story they came up with, the one before the Whistleblower. You know first it was Russia. And that didn’t turn out so good. Jim says, We’re talking about Ukraine, Ukraine! Donald says, So he worked for Biden on Ukraine policy when Biden was VP. Devin says, That’s what Shokin says. Donald says, Who? Devin says. The prosecutor, the one you gave me the note to bring to when I went to see him. Donald says, Oh, that guy. Yeah. I remember him. Great guy. Terrific guy. Very anti-corruption. No time for corruption. He worked for deep state henchman John Brennan, too. And the Whistleblower also worked for Susan Rice. Devin says, Did Rice work for Shokin? That would make a lot of sense when you think about Benghazi and all of that. Donald says, Yeah. Jim says, It all loops together. Donald says, Yeah. The Power Point screen, running along, shows a meticulous thicket of lines and arrows. Donald looks down to Jim and Devin with his serious face. He says, It’s an understatement to say that this is a Witch Hunt, it’s an understatement. – Sunday, November 24, 2019
