CSI: American Carnage (Monday, September 7, 2020)
EXCLUSIVE! BREAKING!
YOUNGSTOWN PA – “He is like a God to me!” So says 31-year-old Bussa Krishna, speaking of his idol, Donald J. Trump. “He is more than a God. He is a sacred world, many worlds.”
This Jangaon native lives a life of worship and devotion, but he plans to venture soon to what he calls “The Land of the Teeming Orange Sun,” America, where his God resides and where devotees from all over the world will soon be gathering for the Feast of the Dominion, this year on November 3, CSI has learned.
Bussa says he was personally invited by High Priestess Leslie Baum Rossi, who presides over the Shrine, designated a World Holy Site and object of veneration and pilgrimage for millions of the worldwide faithful.
Nothing will prevent his appearance, Bussa says.
“I am facing difficulties because of my relatives, they tell me that I am disgracing them in society,” he says. “I told them that just like you believe and worship Shiva, I believe and worship Trump.”
Bussa, well known among the packed world of devotees, is perhaps most famous for his hand-crafted six-foot-tall, blue-suited statue, currently located in his front yard where he worships every Friday. He will be transporting his famous Trump Idol – it features the iconic “Thumb’s Up” pose – to Youngstown Shrine for the pilgrimage and week-long festivities. It will be the first time the statue has left Jangaon.
“Every Friday I fast for Trump’s long life” Bussa says. “I also carry his picture and pray to him before commencing any work.”
This year’s Youngstown Pilgrimmage and Holy Week will mark the fifth for Priestess Rossi. She says she has invited devotees from all over the world. They will gather in a large field east of the Shrine, and listen to live devotional music performed by Wafah Dufour and her band, Deep Tan. It represents the first Youngstown rollout for Osama Bin Laden’s niece, who plans to perform her signature piece, Nimmy and the Hose, during the more secular runup to the climactic Holy Feast. ]
Priestess Rossi said there will be many special guests, including a possible appearance by Noor Bin Laden, Wafour’s sister who is devoted to “Holy Trump,” as she calls him. “I have watched from afar and I admire this man’s resolve,” she says. “He … is vital for the future of not only America, but western civilization as a whole.”
Rossi holds out the possibility of appearances by other celebrities, including Staten Island’s Scott LoBaido, the famous devotional iconographer perhaps best known for his giant “T” statue erected during the 2016 Holy Pilgrimage.
The T was set ablaze by angry nonbelievers, or, as LoBaido calls them, “rioters.” He rebuilt, in the spirit of the religion, he says, a bigger, bolder T. He says that “many call it the biggest and boldest, absolutely the biggest.”
High Priestess Rossi declined comment “at this time” on whether Holy Week events mark a new initiative to merge the Trump and Bin Laden brands, creating one big Super Holy brand. She points out that POTUS Shield will be in attendance throughout the week, but declined to elaborate.
