CSI: American Carnage (April 18, 2019)
THE CENTRAL PLAINS – We must get the leak fixed in the southwest quadrant, my brother. It seems the endless rains and cyclones have taken a toll. The Dark Ones are strolling beneath the vaulted ceiling of the Cloister of Contemplation, one of the most ancient areas within the vast central plains complex. The younger brother sighs. He says, The land is particularly sodden, I’m told, and many of the rural servi are planning to starve. The leak shall be repaired, my brother. No worries there. Bernhardt, although newly installed, is much more attentive in making repairs than the self-serving Zinke. I shall have José make the call. The brothers continue to stroll. The elder says, Why is this day different from all other days? The younger is silent. They continue strolling. At last the younger brother says, The Gambler Showman is putting all of his cards on the table, my brother. He intends to try and muscle through this report they call the Mueller Report and flatten his opposition. The elder says, Yes, yes. It is one of those moments the so-called intellectual servi refer to as transformational. Ho ho ho. It means little as far as our operations are concerned. We have extracted and continue to extract. We suck and continue to suck. We have taken and continue to take. It makes no difference. The younger brother says, You are right, of course, my brother. It is a lesson Father taught well. He took from the precursor of the Eastern Despot. He took from the hothead who dragged the Hun to destruction. We are the beneficiaries of his wisdom. By the way, the Hoosier Puppet has passed word along that the Gambler Showman is increasingly light hearted as release of this so-called report nears. Oh, my brother, if the Gambler Showman only loved dogs, he would be so much more useful. His brother says, Oh, I suspect we shall have some high drama, but the Gambler Showman will never love anything other than himself. Therein lies the worry.
