CSI: American Carnage (Monday, December 3, 2018)
Don Junior enters the room where Rudy waits. They hug. Rudy says, You look good, like you’ve been eating well with the meat. Don Junior says, We are proposing that the three families be dissolved. Hereinafter as aforesaid there will be two families. The Bush Family of Texas will assume operations in areas to be determined. The Trump Family of New York will accept cash money considerations. Rudy says, I see. No commitments so far? Don Junior says, None in terms of bona fide cash money dollars. They have agreed to assist us in efforts to terminate various illegal and unethical activities. Rudy says, As consigliere I must tell you that this is a wise move. It must come from Don Donald. The cash money must come from the Texas family and some outliers. And why is it a wise move? Because I think the special prosecutor has stepped over the line, now, with the way he’s intimidating people in order to tell what he believes is his version of the truth. Don Junior says, He is not a serious man. Rudy says, What are the facts? And what are the opinions? Paulie is held in the hole, bullied and harassed. This is revolting. It is disgusting. This is the fact. Don Junior says, We will not forget. My father has built this family on his reputation. And we do not forget. Rudy says, They want Paulie to give certain forms of evidence that would implicate Don Donald in things that Paulie says are untrue. And at some point, after you do this four, five, six times, you’ve got to accept the fact that, well, Paulie maybe doesn’t have the recollection they’d like, and they are pressuring him and creating the real risk that the man might commit perjury. He will offer what they want to hear. That is not a fact. An ethical prosecutor would stop this, and pursue some other line of inquiry with other people. Is he an American citizen? He is an American citizen. But they are treating him like he’s a terrorist. They need to put up or shut up. These oppressive tactics are un-American. This is what’s wrong with these special prosecutors and independent counsels: They think they’re god. They think they know the only truth that exists, even if there’s a lot of doubt about it. Facts are not facts. Truth is not truth. It is not a question of what the definition of is is, but whether there is an is at all. You know that. I know that. But they seem to want to prosecute people at any cost, including the cost of ethical behavior or the rights of people. And because 70 to 80 percent of the mainstream media is biased, they let them get away with it. That is a fact. Don Junior says, The two families are working in concert now to remove the Arkansas grifters from the picture. Once that has been accomplished, which will be presently, if not already or before, we will work to eliminate Cohen and his issue and those that encourage that issue. Once Cohen and his issue are erased, we will move to align more equitably with the Russian Empire. We will use, as now, the United States as our base, which sits, as Don Donald has argued, in the middle of the ocean. Rudy listens intently. He says, My advice is to make sure you keep fact separate from opinion because no one else does and this is a minefield of rumor and remember that Paulie’s been good, very good, but there is such a thing as too good and that can only be determined by Don Donald. Fact is in the eye of the beholder, depending on which beholder is beholding. Don Junior says, My father and I thank you. Rudy says, Give my love to Don Donald and tell him the package of cannolis should be arriving soon. They kiss and Don Jr. takes his leave.
