“We built the greatest economy in the history of the world.”
WASHINGTON –Mark looks at Donald. Donald is mute. He’s not saying zilch, Mark says. He’s just standing here. Did tech activate? Mike says, Absolutely. Tech has run through the complete checklist supplied by the Saudis. You’ve got to pull the string all the way, remember? Mark says, Oh yeah. Here we go. Mark reaches behind Donald, grabs onto the string with the loop, and pulls. Donald looks around and says, We built the greatest economy in the history of the world. We reignited America’s job creation and achieved record-low unemployment for African-Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, women, almost everyone. Income soared, wages boomed. The American dream was restored and millions were lifted from poverty in just a few short years. It was a miracle. Mike says, Oh, that is excellent! The prince has outdone himself with this model. In a few days, no one will even remember last week or the week before, let alone a year ago. Mark says, What an incredible job we did. You know, he says, a lot of people out there were not who they appeared to be. A lot of places weren’t where they really were or seemed to be. A lot of things that were said were not said, or were said differently, and things that supposedly were done were not done, or were changed after the fact, or before, from the ways they were done previously or at the time. We did it anyway. He pulls the string again. Donald says, I want you to know that the movement we started is only just beginning. There’s never been anything like it. I go from this majestic place with a loyal and joyful heart, an optimistic spirit, and a supreme confidence that for our country and for our children, the best is yet to come. Mark says, Ok. Good to go. No one, I’m telling you, will remember a damn thing unless we clear it. We can launch him now at any time. Mark pulls the string to max, launching Donald and Melania 2.0 out of the White House for the last time. Donald sees the media. He sees some staff. He sees supporters. He says, So just a goodbye. We love you. It’s been something very special. We’ve accomplished a lot. Everyone has worked hard. We’ve left it all on the field. And remember, I wlll always fight for you. I will be watching. I will be listening. We will be back – in some form. Donald and Melania wave and walk down the red carpet and up the steps into Air Force One and into the fractured hearts of the American people. – Jan. 20, 2021
